Anne has been a practicing glass artist for twenty years. Starting off her career in leadlighting, her major focus is now on kiln-formed glass. Iconic forms and shapes such as triangle, squares and linear angles form part of her aesthetic, together with her observation of forms in nature. In the Artman Gallery presentation, work from her latest series "Sails" are an expression of her love of water and light.

To Anne, glass is seen as a natural medium to express light. Its gloss, bubbles and forms after manipulation are expressive of the liquid state. Two decades of working with coloured glass has given Anne an intimacy with her chosen medium, which enables her to communicate her feelings.

The last few years have seen Anne win many awards with both local, national and overseas commissions including City of Sterling WA, Rio Tinto Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs. Her work is in the collections of Francoise Birnholz-Zurich, Switzerland and the City of Armadale, Western Australia.
