The Wizard of Oz by Frank Baum is the inspiration behind this exhibition. It is a story of exploration: Dorothy the Explorer, the Heroine, the Pioneer. She goes over land, water and air, and then takes off again to return home.

It can be interpreted as the American Dream. If Kansas is part of a fallen world, there is still a glimpse of earthly paradise further on and beyond. Oz is this colourful place where even scarecrows come alive.

It is a series about hope and fantasy. Anything in the world is possible and within reach.
